We visited the site in July 2022, where we met up with friends Karl and Helen from Youtube’s Roaming In Raymond.
The campsite has a lovely view across open countryside, where within the adjoining field you can also walk your dogs. The field does slope, so the walk back from the dog exercise will certainly help to keep you fit.
During our stay we all had a nice walk to the lovely village of Hartington, it probably took us about half an hour to walk, maybe a bit longer, but we took plenty of stops along the way to chat and take photographs, etc. The old cheese shop is particularly recommended, they sell quite a range of unusual favour cheeses.

Our motorhome is an American RV of about 28 ft long, and was very easily accommodated on the campsite on pitch number 1. Electric hook up point at easy reach on pitch. Drinking water point, and toilet cassette emptying if you need it on site. The farmer even has spare 240v hook up leads for you to use if you run into a problem. Nice quiet farm campsite, no noisy machinery or neighbouring roads.

We made a video of our visit, so please do take a look if you are interested in visiting the site and area: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WwdRe4l2wiQ
